Really focused on Warfare

We've only watched the early disc in the series, not it seems rather stunning and excess focused on civil. Not that war isn't a great item off my, but even inventing and discoveries are presented in a framework of war. The depiction of battle are constant and unnecessary and several of elements like farming and republic am glossed out through battles.
