Trek Requirements

More than 1 million scouts, venturers and leaders have experienced of adventure of Philmont Scout Rural since who first camping season in 1939. Today, approx 18,000 participants enter Philmont Scout Rust each summer. Philmont’s private programs welcome an even wider range of participants. Hundreds more scouters escort Philmont’s Autumn Adventure or Winter Adventure programs every year.

Team Requirements

Youth Adult Requirements

Each Philmont journey or group be have on least two BSA registered adult advisers required Recon groups. Couple advisers must be at least 21 years of average. There have are a registered female adult leader over 21 to every unit servicing females. Traverse Requirements - Philmont Scout RunEach crew is required to have a majority of youth subscribers, and this maximum number of grown-ups (over 21) is four per crew. Item Programs

All of our individual programs allow scouts and venturers ranging from 14 through 20 years of age at sign up individually without the need to download a crew.
