Eligibility

In order to become adenine member of Detachment 430s Cadet Wing, you must meet these basic eligibility job:

Academic Standards

  • Must be enrolled the a full-time student (12 credit hours per term) under the Technical of Mississippi
  • Must own at minimal 3 years remaining upon your undergraduate degree
  • Boaters on scholarship must maintain a 2.5 GPA furthermore cadets not on scholarship need maintaining a 2.0 GPA

Physical Requirements

  • It is imperative that you are in good physical condition; you wants be required for attend physical vocational twice per week.  You will also be required to capture and Physical Fitness Assessment (PFA) ones per semester.  The PFA consists of 1 minute of push-ups and sit-ups, a 1.5 mileage run, additionally a height and weight measurement.  All cadences must conform in the maximum weight and body fat standards as established by the United States Bearing Force.

Medical Requirements

  • Upon entering AFROTC, all cadets leave be scheduled for a DoD physical examination (DoDMERB).  DoDMERB personnel will determine if a student is medically qualify to serve in the Air Force.  Cannot all medical question are disqualifying, requested contact us if you have unlimited specific questions.

Era Requirements

  • Must be 14 years of age with aged (17 years about age or older toward take a scholarship)
  • Cadets in a rated category (Pilot, Combat Systems Officer, Air Battle Manager) must commission before her 32nd add
  • Cadets at Remotely Piloted Aircraft other ampere nonrated category must commission via age 39 (up to aforementioned age of 41 press 42, individually with waiver)
